Mar 2026 – Women at Work

We are proud to reveal the winner of our March challenge, “Women at Work,” held in honour of International Women’s Day. This month, our members captured the diverse, vital, and often unsung roles women play across all levels of society. The Winner: Md Aziman  Congratulations to Md Aziman! His winning photograph of women fishing masterfully illustrates the intersection of labour, tradition, and the natural world. The image is a powerful depiction of women as providers and pillars of their community. “A striking narrative that celebrates the strength and sustainability found in women’s work.” — PSPJ Committee  The Top 5 Selections Out of many incredible submissions, these five entries stood out for their storytelling and technical excellence: Md Aziman: (Winning Image) Women fishing in harmony with nature. Loong FC: A captivating look at the rhythmic focus within communal food production. Peter Chia: A vivid portrait of a female entrepreneur in the local marketplace. Peter Chia: Highlighting the grit and dedication of market vendors. Md Aziman: Documenting modern service and professional roles. Mar 2026 – Hari Raya Celebrations

We are excited to reveal the winner of our March challenge, “Hari Raya Celebrations.” This theme invited our members to capture the spirit of Aidilfitri—from the warmth of family reunions and traditional finery to the vibrant festivities across our community. The Winner: Joanne Chew  A huge congratulations to Joanne Chew! Her winning photograph perfectly encapsulates the essence of the theme. Featuring a multi-generational family gathering in traditional Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung, the image radiates joy, respect, and the deep cultural bonds that define the season. “A masterful group portrait that balances architectural beauty with the heartfelt connections of a family celebrating together. It is the perfect visual representation of the Raya spirit.” — PSPJ Committee The five selected photos  Our panel selected five standout entries that brought the festivities to life: Joanne Chew: (Winning Image) A stunning family portrait at a heritage location. Md Aziman: For his beautiful use of architecture and light, framing a couple in a serene, arched hallway. Albert Low: For capturing the “behind-the-scenes” tradition of preparing Lemang over an open flame. Loong FC (Entry 1): A creative, layered shot capturing the wonder of the season through a child’s eyes. Loong FC (Entry 2): For documenting a family capturing their own digital memories at Pavilion KL.
