Nature Under the Lens: Announcing Our Photography Showcase Winners!
We are thrilled to reveal the selected photographers from our recent nature photography call-out. Macro photography is the art of making the small look mighty, and after reviewing many incredible entries, these four images truly captured the intricate, often-unseen beauty of the world around us.
Our 4 selected photo
Before we reveal the top spot, we want to recognize three photographers whose work captivated our panel with their unique perspectives:
Loong FC: For a beautifully ethereal look at tropical blooms. The soft focus and vibrant pinks create a dreamlike quality that is hard to achieve with such precision.
Joanne Chew: For a fascinating “moment in time” shot. This image, featuring a bright red berry and a spider in its natural habitat, tells a compelling story of the tiny dramas happening in our gardens every day.
Albert Low: For a crisp, classic look at forest textures. The contrast between the white bracket fungus and the lush green ferns highlights the incredible diversity of the forest floor.
The Grand Winner: Md Aziman
A huge congratulations to Md Aziman for taking the top spot! His stunning capture of a vibrant orange mushroom on its delicate, needle-thin stalk is a masterclass in minimalist composition. The way the subject glows against the soft, moody background creates a sense of forest magic that stayed with our judges long after the first viewing.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in this month’s challenges. Your dedication and creativity continue to inspire the club.
